1. Framework Purpose
The SAFECHAIN™ Accountability Integrity Governance Review Framework™ (AIGR-001™) establishes the formal governance process through which institutions periodically review, validate and confirm whether their current Accountability Integrity position remains accurate.
Accountability conditions change.
An institution may improve.
An institution may deteriorate.
A previous assessment may no longer reflect current reality.
A remediation programme may succeed, partially succeed or fail.
A safeguarding environment may change.
Leadership may change.
Evidence may develop.
Risks may emerge.
AIGR-001™ ensures that accountability conclusions remain connected to current evidence rather than historical assumptions.
2. Governing Principle
Accountability classifications, assurances and restoration findings should be periodically revalidated against current evidence so that historic conclusions do not outlive the governance reality they were intended to describe.
3. Central Governance Review Question
AIGR-001™ asks:
Does the institution’s current Accountability Integrity classification still accurately reflect the evidence, risk and governance condition that exist now?
4. Purpose of Governance Review
The Governance Review determines whether:
