SAFECHAIN™ · Masquerade Gala · Global Licensing

Host the
Masquerade Gala
in Your City.

SAFECHAIN™ invites organisations, advocates, RSA Fellows, and changemakers worldwide to become official Masquerade Gala hosts. Bring this landmark advocacy event to your community under a global licence — and join a movement that is rewriting the conversation around domestic abuse, family court reform, and institutional accountability.

"From 2027: every licensed city hosts on the same night — creating a unified, global moment of visibility that no single city could generate alone. Justice, remembered. Systems, held to account. Survivors, honoured. Worldwide."
The Event

What Is the
SAFECHAIN™ Masquerade Gala?

The SAFECHAIN™ Masquerade Gala is an annual global advocacy event — part ceremony, part call to action. Designed to sit at the intersection of culture, community, and systemic reform, each Gala gathers survivors, professionals, policymakers, and allies under one roof to bear witness, to connect, and to demand change.

Founded by Samantha Avril-Andreassen FRSA LLB Hons, author of Unmasking Justice and creator of the SAFECHAIN™ policy framework, the Gala is the public-facing centrepiece of a movement that has already submitted formal policy proposals to the Cabinet Office, Home Office, Ministry of Justice, FCA, Lord Chief Justice, SRA, and BSB.

The masquerade is deliberate. Behind every mask is a story. The Gala honours those stories while building the institutional architecture that means they are never lost again.

In 2026, the Gala launches in London (mid-October) and Winchester (30 October, Lainston House Hotel). From 2027, it scales globally — every licensed city hosting simultaneously on the same date.

Why Host a SAFECHAIN™ Masquerade Gala?

Six Reasons to Bring
the Movement to Your City.

A SAFECHAIN™ Gala licence is not simply an event permit. It is an entry into a global network of purpose-led advocates carrying a shared mission and a brand that is already recognised at the highest levels of UK institutional and policy life.

Reason 01
Global Brand Recognition
Your event carries the full weight of the SAFECHAIN™ brand — a framework that has formally engaged Cabinet Office, Home Office, Ministry of Justice, FCA, Lord Chief Justice, SRA, and BSB. That institutional reach is part of what you are licensing.
Reason 02
Turnkey Framework
You receive SAFECHAIN™ Approved Materials, event guidelines, brand standards, programme architecture, and creative assets — everything required to deliver a professional, trauma-informed, high-calibre event without building from scratch.
Reason 03
Mission Alignment
The Gala is built on values. Every host joins a network of advocates committed to accountability, structural reform, and survivor dignity. Your event is not just fundraising — it is a public declaration of institutional responsibility.
Reason 04
Transparent Commercial Model
A clear fixed-fee and revenue-share structure. No hidden costs. No ambiguity. You keep the majority of what you generate. SAFECHAIN™ benefits only when your event succeeds — creating genuine alignment of interest between licensor and licensee.
Reason 05
Book Sales & Author Platform
Licensed Gala hosts receive access to Unmasking Justice by Samantha Avril-Andreassen FRSA for on-site sales — generating book royalties that support the SAFECHAIN™ mission and adding an author presence dimension to your event programme.
Reason 06
Collective Global Impact
From 2027, all licensed Gala events take place on the same date worldwide — creating a unified, simultaneous moment of visibility. Modelled on the scale and coordination of major global events. The impact of every city amplifies every other city.
The 2027 Vision

Every City. Same Night.
One Global Moment.

The SAFECHAIN™ Masquerade Gala is designed from the outset for global scale. The 2026 UK launch establishes the model. From 2027, every licensed city hosts simultaneously — creating a worldwide moment of remembrance, solidarity, and accountability.

2026
UK Launch
London (mid-October) and Winchester, Lainston House (30 October). The flagship model is established. The event architecture, brand standards, and operational framework are proven at scale.
2027
Global Rollout
Licensed cities across the UK, Europe, North America, and beyond host simultaneously on the same date. RSA Fellows and institutional partners in each city anchor the event in their communities. Every city amplifies every other.
2028+
Established Annual Moment
The SAFECHAIN™ Masquerade Gala becomes a recognised annual global moment — for justice, for remembrance, for systemic accountability. A night the world marks, like New Year's — but for the survivors systems have failed.
The Model
Every licensed city. Same night. Coordinated global media. One unified message reaching audiences in every country where SAFECHAIN™ has partners.
The Precedent
Global synchronised events — New Year celebrations, International Women's Day, Earth Hour — demonstrate the visibility multiplier that comes from simultaneous worldwide action.

Licence Conditions

What the Licence Requires

The SAFECHAIN™ Masquerade Gala licence carries clear obligations that protect the brand, the mission, and the audience. These are non-negotiable standards — not aspirational guidelines.

◆ Mission Alignment
All licensed events must centre the SAFECHAIN™ mission: safeguarding reform, survivor dignity, institutional accountability, and systemic change. Events must not be used primarily for commercial promotion unrelated to the mission.
◆ Brand Standards Compliance
All use of the SAFECHAIN™ name, logo, and associated trademarks must comply strictly with the Approved Materials brand guidelines. No modification of brand elements without written approval from SAFECHAIN™ Ltd.
◆ Safeguarding Standards
All events must operate in compliance with SAFECHAIN™ safeguarding event standards. Events must be trauma-informed, accessible, and conducted in a manner that honours survivors. A safeguarding contact must be designated for each event.
◆ Financial Transparency
Licensees must maintain accurate records of ticket sales and event revenue. Revenue share calculations must be submitted with supporting documentation within 30 days of the event date. SAFECHAIN™ reserves the right to audit.
◆ Territorial Exclusivity
Licence grants are territory-specific. Licensees may not sub-licence to third parties without written approval. SAFECHAIN™ reserves the right to grant additional licences in the same territory in subsequent years.
◆ Annual Renewal
Licences are annual and subject to renewal. Renewal is contingent on compliance with brand standards, safeguarding obligations, and settlement of all financial obligations from the prior year. Compliant licensees receive priority renewal rights.
