Executive Summary
The SAFECHAIN™ Seal of Integrity™ Framework establishes the highest level of organisational recognition within the SAFECHAIN™ ecosystem. The Seal of Integrity™ is awarded only to organisations that can demonstrate sustained excellence in governance, safeguarding, accountability, transparency and continuous improvement through independent assessment against the SAFECHAIN™ Standards.
Unlike traditional accreditation, the Seal of Integrity™ is not a one-time achievement or a declaration of compliance. It is an evidence-based assurance that an organisation consistently embeds governance into its leadership, culture, operational decision-making and service delivery.
The Seal represents a public commitment to integrity, ethical leadership and institutional excellence.

The Framework exists to:

Demonstration of robust safeguarding systems that prioritise prevention, early intervention, participation and protection.
Standard 3 — Ethical Leadership
Evidence that organisational decisions consistently reflect ethical principles, fairness and integrity.
Standard 4 — Organisational Culture
A culture that encourages openness, psychological safety, learning and continuous improvement.
Standard 5 — Risk & Resilience
Effective management of strategic, operational, financial, digital and safeguarding risks.
Standard 6 — Workforce Capability
Investment in recruitment, supervision, professional development, competency and wellbeing.
Standard 7 — Digital Governance
Strong cyber security, information governance, responsible AI, digital resilience and secure operational management.

Organisations seeking the Seal should demonstrate:

Assessment Methodology
Assessment may include:

Certification Process
Stage 1 — Application
Submission of organisational profile and supporting documentation.
Stage 2 — Readiness Assessment
Evaluation against minimum eligibility requirements.
Stage 3 — Independent Review
Comprehensive evidence-based assessment across all Seal standards.
Stage 4 — Verification
Independent moderation and quality assurance of assessment findings.
Stage 5 — Award Decision
Award of the SAFECHAIN™ Seal of Integrity™ where evidence demonstrates achievement of the required standard.
Stage 6 — Ongoing Assurance
Periodic surveillance, reassessment and continuous monitoring to maintain certification.
Conditions of Award
