Framework Purpose

The Judicial Participation Integrity Framework™ establishes a governance framework to strengthen meaningful, fair and effective participation within judicial and tribunal processes.

The framework recognises that justice depends not only upon the authority of decision-makers, but also upon whether individuals are able to understand proceedings, present their evidence, engage with processes and experience procedural fairness.

Framework Definition

Judicial Participation Integrity Framework™ is a governance framework that supports fair participation in judicial processes by strengthening accessibility, understanding, procedural inclusion, informed engagement and confidence in justice systems.

Organising Principle

Justice cannot be fully achieved when people are present in proceedings but unable to meaningfully participate.
