EVID-001 - EVIDENCE INTEGRITY™
Evidence Integrity™
The SAFECHAIN™ Evidence Integrity™ (EVID-001) establishes the governance standard for how evidence is gathered, recorded, preserved and disclosed across justice, safeguarding, healthcare, housing, education and regulatory settings.
The Framework recognises that every significant decision affecting a vulnerable person — a safeguarding referral, a family court judgment, a regulatory finding — depends entirely on the quality of the evidence behind it. Memory fades, records are incomplete, and assumptions harden into treated-as-fact conclusions when evidence and opinion are not clearly separated. Without a consistent evidential standard, institutions cannot demonstrate that their decisions were lawful, accurate or fair, regardless of how sound the underlying reasoning may have been.
By integrating Lawful Collection, Accuracy, Contemporaneity, Traceability and Transparency into a single governance framework, the SAFECHAIN™ Evidence Integrity™ enables organisations to gather and preserve evidence that can withstand judicial and regulatory scrutiny, protect professionals through clear and honest documentation, and ensure that every decision affecting a vulnerable person rests on a record strong enough to bear its weight.
