These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the SAFECHAIN™ website, educational programmes, certification pathways, publications, and related materials.

By accessing this website or enrolling in any SAFECHAIN™ course or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use this website or participate in any programme.

2. Definitions

“SAFECHAIN™” refers to the company, its website, educational programmes, certification pathways, publications, frameworks, and associated materials.

“Participant” refers to any individual enrolling in or accessing SAFECHAIN™ services.

“Professional Courses” refers to MØPIT™, CPIT™, and related certification frameworks.

“Individual Courses” refers to The Threshold™, R.I.S.E.™, Embodiment Programme, and related educational offerings.

3. Nature of Services

SAFECHAIN™ provides structured educational programmes and governance-aligned training frameworks.

SAFECHAIN™ does not provide:

  • Legal advice

  • Medical treatment

  • Psychological therapy

  • Clinical diagnosis

  • Crisis intervention

  • Emergency safeguarding services

Participation in SAFECHAIN™ programmes does not create a solicitor-client, doctor-patient, therapist-client, fiduciary, or statutory relationship.

All content is provided for educational purposes only.

Participants remain responsible for seeking appropriate professional advice where required.

4. Eligibility

Participants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Provide accurate information

  • Participate voluntarily

  • Have the legal capacity to consent

SAFECHAIN™ reserves the right to decline or withdraw enrolment at its discretion.

5. Safeguarding & Risk Acknowledgement

SAFECHAIN™ operates within a trauma-informed educational framework. However:

  • SAFECHAIN™ is not a safeguarding authority.

  • SAFECHAIN™ does not conduct investigations.

  • SAFECHAIN™ does not intervene in active legal, medical, or crisis situations.

If you are in immediate danger, you must contact emergency services in your jurisdiction.

Participants acknowledge that trauma-related topics may be discussed and agree to take responsibility for their own wellbeing and support structures.

6. Professional Responsibility

For Professional Courses (including MØPIT™ and CPIT™):

Completion of a SAFECHAIN™ course:

  • Does not grant statutory authority

  • Does not replace mandatory regulatory training

  • Does not override employer governance obligations

  • Does not confer professional accreditation unless explicitly stated

Professionals remain responsible for compliance with their governing bodies, regulators, and employers.

7. Payment & Refund Policy

Where course fees apply:

  • Payment secures access to the specified programme.

  • Fees are non-transferable unless agreed in writing.

Refund Policy:

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing.

  • Digital materials accessed may affect refund eligibility.

  • SAFECHAIN™ reserves discretion in determining refund eligibility.

SAFECHAIN™ reserves the right to modify pricing for future offerings.

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials, frameworks, terminology, documentation, branding, and written content are the intellectual property of SAFECHAIN™.

Participants may not:

  • Reproduce materials

  • Distribute materials

  • Record sessions without permission

  • Teach or sublicense materials

  • Use materials for commercial gain

Unauthorised use may result in immediate removal from the programme and potential legal action.

9. Confidentiality

Participants agree to:

  • Maintain confidentiality of discussions

  • Respect privacy of other participants

  • Refrain from sharing personal disclosures

  • Not record sessions without written permission

SAFECHAIN™ will take reasonable steps to protect confidentiality but cannot guarantee absolute security of digital platforms.

10. Data Protection

SAFECHAIN™ processes personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

Information collected may include:

  • Contact details

  • Professional information

  • Course enrolment data

Data is processed for:

  • Course administration

  • Governance review

  • Communication

  • Compliance purposes

Participants may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data subject to legal obligations.

11. Code of Conduct

Participants must:

  • Engage respectfully

  • Avoid harassment or intimidation

  • Maintain professional and ethical conduct

SAFECHAIN™ reserves the right to remove participants for misconduct without refund.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAFECHAIN™ shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Emotional distress arising from voluntary participation

  • Professional decisions made based on course material

  • Institutional outcomes

  • Loss of income or opportunity

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion would be unlawful.

Participation is undertaken at the participant’s own discretion and responsibility.

13. Course Modifications

SAFECHAIN™ reserves the right to:

  • Amend course content

  • Adjust delivery format

  • Modify schedules

  • Update frameworks

Where changes materially affect delivery, reasonable notice will be provided.

14. Termination

SAFECHAIN™ may suspend or terminate participation if:

  • These Terms are breached

  • Payment obligations are unmet

  • Behaviour compromises safeguarding integrity

  • Intellectual property is misused

Termination does not waive outstanding financial obligations.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising from participation in SAFECHAIN™ programmes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Amendments

SAFECHAIN™ reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be published on this website and will take immediate effect upon publication.

Continued use of SAFECHAIN™ services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
