Within financial remedy proceedings, the duty of full and frank disclosure under Section 25 of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 is fundamental.

Recognition and prioritisation of physical and psychological protection, including the impact of coercive or controlling behaviour.

Ensuring that all parties are assessed against verifiable evidence, without undue reliance on status, position, or perceived credibility.
F — Flow
Facilitating the effective movement of relevant evidence between institutions to reduce fragmentation.
E — Equality
Supporting the fair application of statutory principles, including those under Section 25, to ensure balanced consideration of needs and resources.
C — Continuity
Recognising patterns across time, including prior proceedings, repeated litigation behaviours, or structural consistencies.
H — Health
Ensuring appropriate consideration of medical and psychological evidence, including trauma and vulnerability.
A — Access
Promoting meaningful access to justice, particularly where there is disparity in legal resources or representation.
I — Integration
Encouraging alignment between agencies, including financial, legal, and safeguarding bodies, to support accurate and complete assessment.
N — Navigation
Providing structured pathways through complex legal and institutional systems to support clarity and procedural fairness.
3. OPERATIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
The Framework highlights the importance of coordination across systems, including:
