SAFECHAIN™ MASQUERADE BALL SERIES

SPONSORSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Definitions

“Event” refers to the SAFECHAIN™ Masquerade Ball Series (Winchester and London 2026, and any subsequent licensed editions).

“SAFECHAIN™” refers to the trademarked safeguarding and reform platform founded by Samantha Avril-Andreassen.

“Sponsor” refers to the organisation entering into a sponsorship agreement.

“Agreement” refers to the executed Sponsorship Contract including these Terms & Conditions.

2. Sponsorship Commitment

2.1 Sponsorship is confirmed only upon:

  • Signed agreement by both parties

  • Receipt of payment in full (unless otherwise agreed in writing)

2.2 Sponsorship benefits are limited to those explicitly stated in the agreed Sponsorship Tier.

2.3 SAFECHAIN™ reserves the right to determine final allocation of branding placement and speaking slots in alignment with event structure and safeguarding principles.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Sponsorship fees are payable within 14 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed.

3.2 Failure to make payment may result in:

  • Withdrawal of sponsorship recognition

  • Removal of branding from promotional materials

3.3 Sponsorship payments are non-refundable except where the Event is cancelled by SAFECHAIN™ and not rescheduled.

4. Use of Brand & Intellectual Property

4.1 SAFECHAIN™ retains full ownership of:

  • Name

  • Logo

  • Event branding

  • Programme structure

  • Educational frameworks

  • Reform themes

4.2 Sponsors may not use SAFECHAIN™ branding for marketing purposes beyond the scope agreed in writing.

4.3 SAFECHAIN™ may use sponsor logos solely for event-related promotional purposes.

5. Ethical Alignment & Conduct

5.1 Sponsors must align with SAFECHAIN™ values:

  • Safeguarding integrity

  • Human dignity

  • Non-discrimination

  • Lawful conduct

5.2 SAFECHAIN™ reserves the right to terminate sponsorship if:

  • The Sponsor engages in conduct materially inconsistent with safeguarding principles

  • The Sponsor’s public conduct risks reputational harm to SAFECHAIN™

5.3 In such cases, sponsorship fees may be retained to cover incurred costs.

6. Event Programme & Speaking Rights

6.1 Speaking opportunities (where included) must:

  • Align with event tone

  • Avoid political partisanship

  • Avoid defamatory content

  • Maintain dignity toward survivors

6.2 SAFECHAIN™ reserves editorial control over event programme flow.

7. Media & Public Statements

7.1 Sponsors may reference their partnership publicly.

7.2 Any press releases referencing SAFECHAIN™ must be approved in advance.

7.3 SAFECHAIN™ reserves the right to issue official press communications.

8. Force Majeure

SAFECHAIN™ shall not be liable for cancellation or delay due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Public health restrictions

  • Venue cancellation

  • Government restrictions

  • Force majeure events

Rescheduling will be prioritised where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

SAFECHAIN™ shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in the Event.

Sponsor participation is voluntary and at own risk.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
